AutoEMI does not collect any personal information from you. We do not require an account, we do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or any identifying detail. The loan amount, interest rate, and tenure you enter into the calculator are processed entirely in your browser using JavaScript and are never transmitted over the network.
1. Information we collect
If you use the multi-loan dashboard, your loans are stored in your browser's localStorage under the key autoemi.loans. This data stays on your device. It is not synced to any backend, not uploaded anywhere, and not accessible to us or anyone else. Clearing your browser's site data will permanently delete the stored loans.
2. Local-only data
AutoEMI does not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, Hotjar, Mixpanel, Segment, or any other third-party analytics or tracking tool. We do not use cookies to track you across sites. We do not build advertising profiles. The only metric we can see is aggregated, server-side request counts that tell us roughly how many people visited each page — and even that is only available to us through our hosting provider.
3. Analytics & tracking
AutoEMI does not use cookies. The site does use the browser's localStorage to remember two preferences: (a) the theme you selected (light or dark), and (b) the language you picked (English, Hindi, etc.). Both are stored on your device only. You can clear them at any time from your browser's site data settings, and the site will continue to work normally.
4. Cookies & localStorage
AutoEMI loads the Geist and Geist Mono typefaces from Google Fonts, which means Google technically sees your browser's IP address and user-agent when fetching those files. This is the only third-party network call the site makes. We do not use any other third-party scripts, embeds, or content delivery networks beyond our own static hosting.
5. Third-party services
AutoEMI is a general-purpose financial tool intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 (or under the relevant age in your jurisdiction). Because we do not collect any personal information from anyone, this policy is effectively a no-op for minors, but the principle stands: we will never knowingly process children's data.
6. Children's privacy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in how the site works or to comply with new regulations. The most recent revision date will always be shown at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date; continued use of the site after a change indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
